Membership at the Dyke
The annual subscription for a full member is £1,684 from 1st April 2024. The joining fee of £842 payable over your first 2-years membership. We have a wide range of membership types to suit all golfers, including flexible membership with lower rates for intermediates, juniors and students.
Being a member of the Dyke Golf Club offers the opportunity to meet new people, play social golf as well as enter our numerous competitions and events throughout the year. For the keen golfer, there’s plenty of opportunity to represent the club in one of the many different types of matches we play.
With on-line booking for competitions, you can sign up with friends or put your name in any space. There are mid-week and weekend competitions for both ladies and gentlemen, as well as mixed competitions and friendly matches played on Sundays.
Ladies play events every Tuesday morning with qualifying and fun competitions throughout the year. Our working ladies have a roll up on Saturday morning and the opportunity to play qualifying competitions at the weekend.
We have a large thriving Veterans section (age 55+) who meet for roll-up golf three times a week, play numerous qualifying tournaments throughout the year as well as club matches home and away most weeks between April and October.
There are competitions every month for our Juniors.
For those who are new to golf, the club offers excellent teaching facilities, the opportunity to gain a handicap and meet like-minded players.
Other membership benefits include discounted food and drinks from the bar, and the opportunity to sign in guests at a reduced green fee rate. There are numerous social events in our calendar each year, with regular bridge sessions and quiz nights, as well as parties and other events.

| A joining fee of '1/2 x 7-day subscription' will be applied on all playing memberships payable over your first 2-years membership (excl. Junior & Full Time Education Memberships).Subscriptions for new members are charged on a pro-rata basis from the beginning of the month of entry (Except Juniors where the membership is pro rata half yearly). Subscriptions are due annually in advance. Members may pay their subscriptions via a monthly payment scheme which will incur a credit charge. A member resigning part way through the year will be liable for the balance of the year's subscription. (1) This rate shall be Nil if the parent is a member. (2) incl use of practice facilities & 6 rounds at guest rate. (3) The Swipe Card Credit (SCC) will be added to your card balance when the invoice is paid in full (Or just after 1st April for member’s paying by monthly standing order). If members do not use the SCC by the following 31st March, the balance will be forfeited. (4) All playing members (excl. Junior & Full Time Education Memberships) will automatically be 'opted in' to the 100 Club for the year. This equates to £5 per month. Members can 'opt out' by contacting the office. Further details of our 100 Club can be seen on the notice boards or requested from the office. |

Flexible Membership
Flexible membership is for those with limited time, but who want to play on any day as well as enter competitions. With a reduced membership fee, varying numbers of credits are used to pay for each round of golf. Click here for more details.
Junior Membership
We offer excellent rates for Juniors from £65 with free membership offered to juniors whose parents/guardians are playing members of the club.
Intermediate Membership
With an influx of young working professionals at the club, our Intermediate membership is now the envy of the county. Our Intermediate packages start from as little as £764 rising on a sliding scale up to full membership pricing when you reach 30 years of age. Young people who are in full time education receive a further discount and their membership is just £329pa.

I recently joined the Dyke as I was looking for a progressive club where female members are valued and have a voice. The course is great fun, with stupendous views, and there is a lovely vibe.
